Jeff Gordinier

Jeff Gordinier is a writer whose byline has appeared in The New York Times, the Globe & Mail, Food & Wine, Outside, Town & Country, Artful Living, Air Mail, Alta Journal, and many other publications. As the food & drinks editor for Esquire, he explores the culinary world and the individuals who shape it. His work has won a National Magazine Award, the James Beard Foundation's M.F.K. Fisher Distinguished Writing Award, and a prize for food writing from the New York Press Club. Gordinier is the author of 2019's Hungry, a memoir chronicling his experiences with Noma chef René Redzepi, and the co-editor of 2015's Here She Comes Now, a collection of essays about women in music. He has taught food writing at Drexel University in Philadelphia and has appeared in the Netflix shows Chef's Table and Somebody Feed Phil.
