Brian McGinn

Brian McGinn is a film and TV director, writer and producer. In 2013, he developed the documentary series Chef’s Table with Jiro Dreams of Sushi director David Gelb. Over the last decade, Chef’s Table has been nominated for 11 Primetime Emmys, won 5 James Beard Awards and become the longest-running program on Netflix. Since it launched in 2015, McGinn has cast, executive produced and showrun the series, as well as directed twelve episodes.
McGinn is also the writer, producer and director of the acclaimed feature documentary Amanda Knox, the co-creator of the Netflix series Street Food, the executive producer and director of the Netflix series Trial by Media, and the director of the HBO Comedy Special Ferrell Takes the Field, starring Will Ferrell. In 2023, McGinn was a co-executive producer on the second season of FX's acclaimed series The Bear.
