BENJAMIN ROUSSEAU
CLUB LAFAYE
Born in Paris and raised in Bordeaux, Benjamin Rousseau has spent more than two decades championing the culture of fine wine and hospitality. Before founding Club Lafaye, he served as President and CEO of Duclot La Vinicole US, representing one of Bordeaux’s most historic wine houses. During his tenure, he worked hand-in-hand with premier Bordeaux estates and leading restaurants in New York and California, elevating wine programs and curating experiences that showcased the soul of French winemaking.
Building on that foundation, Benjamin co-founded Club Lafaye, a California-based private members’ club devoted to connecting celebrated European winemakers with discerning clients in the United States. Through bespoke dinners, immersive tastings, and cultural collaborations, Club Lafaye offers its members unforgettable food, wine, and travel experiences across California and France—integrating gastronomy, music, art, and connection. Members also enjoy concierge services and privileged access to rare and collectible wines.
A French native with a refined global sensibility, Benjamin is known for his warmth, taste, and ability to create intimate, meaningful moments around the table. His work reflects a philosophy that wine is not only to be tasted, but to be experienced—through stories, places, and people.
He currently resides in Highland Park, California, with his wife and two daughters, where he continues to blend Old World craftsmanship with California’s spirit of innovation, bridging cultures through hospitality, artistry, and exceptional wine.
