Rhoda Magbitang is the Executive Chef at CanoeHouse, where she brings a deep respect for Hawai‘i’s land, culture, and ingredients to every dish. Originally from the Philippines and trained in Los Angeles, she’s worked in top kitchens including République, AOC, and Chateau Marmont, and most recently led the culinary team at The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern, earning Michelin Guide recognition. At CanoeHouse, she honors the legacy of Hawai‘i Regional Cuisine with a style rooted in sustainability, story, and soul.
